Riley

About:

Riley grew up surrounded by bluegrass music, blueberries, and Kentucky bourbon, BBQ, and basketball. She knows the healing frequencies of sound and loves the power of community and a good bowl of burgoo. Riley made the trek out to Colorado in 2017 to pursue her dreams of being a ski bum/public administrator. While studying for her master’s degree, she found rugby and quickly fell in love with the sport. As former collegiate hammer and discus thrower, she was thrilled to finally participate in a full contact sport. She spent several years after graduating with her MPA playing and coaching rugby while working in public finance. Rugby reignited her passion for teamwork and sparked her curiosity in a career in serving others through chiropractic.

Riley is set to earn her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College in October. Prior to chiropractic school, she received her Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado and studied music composition at Rhodes College.

She is certified in Active Release Technique (ART) Full Body Level 1. She has completed the Webster coursework and will be completing the certification upon graduation. In addition, she holds her EMT-B and Outdoor Emergency Care certifications, which she utilizes in her role as a volunteer ski patroller at Copper Mountain.

In her free time, Riley is usually training calisthenics, camping, refereeing rugby, or roller blading with her dogs. She loves to visit National Parks and is passionate about her DIY projects and plants.
